As per the last update, i.e., the version 0.12.9, options for new character customization were added.
The developers are releasing the major updates in a rather quick succession. It requires the player progress to be reset.
However, if you have the Edge of the Darkness edition then you will get everything back whatever you had. They do so to avoid technical complications in the program after the patch. What it means is that your progress in quests, your trader rep, and your stash even will be restored to the starting point of the game. If you are unaware of the wipe then let us tell you that it is something that is something that usually complements patches, particularly the major ones, and all the progression of the players is reset.
